Nursing & Healthcare

The Nurses employed by the University are engaged in the support of research or clinical trials or in a Research and Teaching capacity in the School of Nursing and Healthcare. 

Where nurses are required to undertake clinical work in the NHS with patients and/or patient data clinical access is granted by the NHS and Occupational Health and Disclosure Checks may be necessary.  The University Research Governance Officer / NHS R&D team checks eligibility and decides which checks are necessary and then, if necessary the nurse submits a Research Passport application.
